Even if you don't really know me personally, you would know i'm in love with anything eyewear related. Glasses are practically my whole life and for those who might be curious, i actually wore my previous glasses for 5 whole years! Tbh that's actually pretty insane... or maybe that's just me being really lazy hmm. So in love with glasses i actually have 3 now which i interchange on a day to day basis and 1 of which is none other than the pair from eGG Optical.

I'm also particularly fond of this shades. Yes i know it's similar to the glasses haha guess you can say i'm really into this design.





Dropped by the Jurong Point outlet some time back to grab my eyewear to go in just 30mins! Thank you so much Joline!

4. Grand opening of d'skin x Shou Slimming Centre

Recently i was invited to the grand opening of d'skin & Shou Slimming centre's newest outlet at The Seletar Mall and they were generous enough to host me for a session of LPG Endermologie which is one of the treatments they offer at their centre. 

To put simply, this treatment helps improve skin circulation, contour the body and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Lipomassage helps to eliminate stubborn fat that exercise and dieting cannot get rid of. Sounds pretty ideal for people who are either lazy or have a really busy schedule which i believe somehow or another, we would fall into either or both categories.

All these photos might look familiar as i've been to this outlet 3 times and i'm really digging the whole ambience and interior. If you might be wondering, d'skin and Shou Slimming centre are both located side by side (what a dream come true ain't it??)

We would have to fill up a form which would enable the specialist to better understand what our concerns for our body are. On a side note, i guess this is how i look signing papers (looks pretty legit i feel HAHA).

Cheers to comfy couches and no crowds!! If i may also just add, their customer service is really top notch. They had my drink prepared when i arrived, immediately placed my bag into the lockers and ushered me right to the couches. I mean if this isn't excellent service standards, i don't know what is.

The entire treatment lasted about an hour. Not gonna lie, it was not a painless process but that's only because some parts of my body (my thighs especially) had poorer blood circulation. The specialist mentioned that it could be due to me crossing my legs pretty often at work. Who knew crossing of legs would cause poor blood circulation? Gotta keep your posture in check all the time. 

Besides reducing the appearance of cellulite, they also have this part where they use the machine to lift your butt for a perkier appearance. You know your girl here have to ask the specialist to focus on that *winks*. 

All in all, i do see slight results after the first session. I felt that was my skin was tighter as compared to before. To see obvious results, you would definitely have to go back for more sessions just like for facials.

They do have other treatments available at the centre as well (they even sell slimming coffee), do call them to find out more!

3. Back with d'skin

Guess who's back... back again? It's your girl and i'm back with dskin after a good 3 months?!? This time around, i dropped by the newly opened outlet at Seletar Mall! I wasted no time to get a skin analysis and it was clear that my skin was in desperate need of hydration hence i was recommended the hydration and lifting treatment once again. I guess all the late nights due to work and school has taken its toll on my skin sigh. 

Loved the outlet's interior and ambience but what stood out for me without a doubt was the warm & friendly attitude of the consultants. It was close to 7.30pm when i reached the outlet and they greeted me with a smile and offered to carry all the bags of stuff i was holding once i stepped foot in the premise. Getting your customer service right is so important in the service industry and i must say, d'skin got this point in the bag.

Oh yes you have no idea how the facial bed looks after a long day at work, i literally dived into the bed (if that is even possible hmm)

Initially i was just casually chatting with my consultant but i fell asleep probably like 15 mins into the treatment? It wasn't because i was tired, it was just that the facial was too relaxing i couldn't help it! By this point i was already sleeping like a log. 

Here's all the products used for the facial. You already know it ain't easy to maintain good complexion in such a humid weather like Singapore. Props to all my sisters and brothers who has clear and hydrated skin.

Can't stress the importance of taking care of your skin, especially to all my ladies out there (when i say this i'm actually reminding myself as well). Yes, you might be busy with work/school/life but please don't neglect your skin. Remember to pamper yourself!

You already know the drill! It's your skin, your life. 

(Just a tip: book your appointment at either one of the heartland outlets and after normal work hours, you will thoroughly enjoy it like i did!)
