11. Glower Hair Care x Callmesheryl

I'm super excited to share with you guys that I'll be partnering up with Glower Hair Care for the next upcoming year as I work on improving my Hair & Scalp condition. As you all would know, I changed my hair colour countless times to countless colour over the past few years and all these chemical damage caused by the constant bleaching has taken its toll on my scalp especially.

Last week, I was invited to my first ever session with Glower Hair Care and would love to quickly share some highlights of the entire session (scalp & hair analysis + actual treatment) which lasted close to 2 hrs for me as I have slightly longer hair.

Once you arrive you would be greeted by Pauline and her lovely team and have your complimentary scalp & hair analysis using the latest state of the art machine as seen below.

  

It is crucial to understand and analyze your scalp and hair condition so that the most suitable treatment would be recommended to you. For myself, I have really dry, sensitive scalp. Dandruff and eczema on the bottom of my head is also something I struggle with for quite some time now. The white stuff you see close to the roots of my hair as seen above is actually dead skin cells (yes, quite unsightly I know)

As an introduction to the treatments that are to follow in the sessions to come, I was treated to a Deep Cleansing Session of my scalp.

Step 1: One of their hair care specialist gave my hair a thorough wash with Glower's Hydrating Shampoo

Step 2: I was treated with Glower's Scalp Serum to clear and detox my scalp

Step 3: Mulberry Plant Extract was fed into my scalp with a special tool as seen below. It is also known as their stem cell treatment to stimulate scalp and control any hair loss

Step 4: The hair care specialist gave my scalp a good massage for all the extracts to be absorbed even better (she also threw in a quick shoulder massage which is a definite plus point!)

Step 5: I was placed under Glower's state of the art hair care machine which emitted laser that helps to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp and therefore promoting hair growth

I was honestly pleasantly surprised to see a huge difference in my scalp condition in just 1 session! You can clearly see below that my scalp is looking much better and closer to what a healthy scalp should look like (shown on the top right of the machine)

4. Grand opening of d'skin x Shou Slimming Centre

Recently i was invited to the grand opening of d'skin & Shou Slimming centre's newest outlet at The Seletar Mall and they were generous enough to host me for a session of LPG Endermologie which is one of the treatments they offer at their centre. 

To put simply, this treatment helps improve skin circulation, contour the body and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Lipomassage helps to eliminate stubborn fat that exercise and dieting cannot get rid of. Sounds pretty ideal for people who are either lazy or have a really busy schedule which i believe somehow or another, we would fall into either or both categories.

All these photos might look familiar as i've been to this outlet 3 times and i'm really digging the whole ambience and interior. If you might be wondering, d'skin and Shou Slimming centre are both located side by side (what a dream come true ain't it??)

We would have to fill up a form which would enable the specialist to better understand what our concerns for our body are. On a side note, i guess this is how i look signing papers (looks pretty legit i feel HAHA).

Cheers to comfy couches and no crowds!! If i may also just add, their customer service is really top notch. They had my drink prepared when i arrived, immediately placed my bag into the lockers and ushered me right to the couches. I mean if this isn't excellent service standards, i don't know what is.

The entire treatment lasted about an hour. Not gonna lie, it was not a painless process but that's only because some parts of my body (my thighs especially) had poorer blood circulation. The specialist mentioned that it could be due to me crossing my legs pretty often at work. Who knew crossing of legs would cause poor blood circulation? Gotta keep your posture in check all the time. 

Besides reducing the appearance of cellulite, they also have this part where they use the machine to lift your butt for a perkier appearance. You know your girl here have to ask the specialist to focus on that *winks*. 

All in all, i do see slight results after the first session. I felt that was my skin was tighter as compared to before. To see obvious results, you would definitely have to go back for more sessions just like for facials.

They do have other treatments available at the centre as well (they even sell slimming coffee), do call them to find out more!
